The roundtable discussion hosts Helena Guimarães de Oliveira (from Sigmund Freud University).
Since 2013, Brazil has been facing a political, economic and constitutional crisis. Corruption, unemployment, disbelief in institutions, political judgements and even an impeachment of the president. Moreover, an extreme-right authoritarian
candidate has just been elected president and the very recent Brazilian democracy might be at stake - right after the current Constitution, promulgated after 21 years of military dictatorship, completed 30 years.
The event is organized by the Department for the Study of Constitutionalism and the Rule of Law of HAS CSS ILS.
