The paper aims to analyze the terminology and concepts regarding disability and people with disabilities in employment. The focus is the Hungarian legal framework, which implements the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Council Directive 2000/78/EC of 27 November 2000, establishing a general framework for equal treatment in employment and occupation. The analysis also reflects on the evolving models of disability and how they are represented by Hungarian legislation.
